- Newbuild in Zadar, adaptation of two-room apartment to be rented
Project description
The task was to adapt an apartment in a newbuild with 20 apartments, up to the last detail, by a “turnkey” system. The apartment has 55m2, two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen with a dining room, bathroom, separate toilet and an entrance hall. We were entrusted with the overall adaptation of the apartment in the building phase already, so our studio selected ceramic tiles for the bathroom and kitchen, as well as parquet among a few offers provided by the investor.
The idea was to, respecting the wishes of the future owner, design a luxury apartment of high category, comfortable to live in. Furnishing the apartment is supposed to be an overall, unique concept, with a characteristic style and highly functional.
Living room and kitchen with dining room are decorated with neutral grey and beige tones, as well as with wooden decorations, while a fresh impression is achieved by an olive-green angle set. Kitchen construction is paid special attention, and it is skilfully connected with a TV wall and entrance hall. Wooden slats add to the premises attractiveness, the same being used for the entrance hall closet fronts, with the idea to achieve the effect of connected space and a kind of homogeneity. A touch of luxury is achieved by a dining table with a ceramic plate in marble pattern, augmented by velvet-covered chairs. Maximum attention is devoted to the kitchen, all the kitchen devices are of the built-in type, while the wall is enriched with ceramic tiles of extra-large dimensions, cut so that no joints can be seen and giving the impression of glass. The lines are clear and elegant and the inside of the kitchen is exploited to the highest possible degree.
Luxury in the bedrooms is accented by rich beds and materials used, by interesting wall coverings and a rich copper mirror on closet fronts. Special attention has been paid suspended ceiling and hidden ceiling lighting which contributes to intimate atmosphere.
Three types of ceramic tiles are combines in the bathroom and toilet, with chevron tiles giving a warm feeling to the whole. Despite the installation of 3 types of tiles in a relatively small bathroom, the space is not visually reduced at all and carefully selected scheme of laying tiles results in a maximally functional bathroom. An additional space is found even for a closet, concealing a washing machine, boiler, laundry basket and necessary detergents. Some decorative details, such as pegs and mirrors make this part of the apartment additionally interesting.
Every detail in the rest of the apartment is also carefully selected, especially curtains, carpets, wall decorations etc.
Spacious terrace distinguishes this apartment, with a wooden decking, offering additional touch of warmth and luxury.
