Luxury penthouse apartment
- Zadar, urban villa with 4 apartments, apartment on top floor
Project description
The owners bought the apartment in a newbuild, with the area of 105m2, with two terraces, and were not completely satisfied with everything they found in the apartment. Thus, they asked for a partial adaptation and complete rearrangement of the apartment. Their wish was to create an impressive, modern and luxurious apartment, while at the same time retaining the atmosphere of a warm home.
Apartment owners, since they live abroad, decided to leave the complete process of adaptation and furnishing in the hands of professionals, intending to come when everything was over, when all the details were finished and done.
There are 3 bedrooms in the apartment, 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, 2 dressing rooms, a laundry, as well as a large open space, consisting of a kitchen, living room and dining room. The owners asked us to remove completely the storeroom, planned as a part of the kitchen, and to replace parquet in the kitchen and corridor with tiles.

All the tiles and sanitary equipment in the bathrooms and toilets had to be removed and replaced by new ceramic tiles, sanitary facilities, bathroom cabinets, shower screens and bathroom accessories. Outdoor barbecue and shower were installed on terraces, and a pergola constructed. New lighting was installed in all the rooms in the apartment, ceilings were lowered, a part of the apartment was painted in neutral grey, while some of the walls were accented by wallpaper.
Most of the furniture pieces, such as those for kitchen, dressing rooms, bedrooms, bathroom cabinets, TV unit, and furniture for laundry were made to measure. The space in the living room was enriched using wooden slats. Bed head in the big bedroom should be given special attention, as it makes a sliding panel hiding a window behind it. To make the wall behind the bed head aesthetically more attractive, we concealed the window situated at an improper place, and at the same time made it available when additional light was needed, or the need arose to air the room. The whole issue was completed by using a designer wallpaper, properly illuminated by concealed lighting.
Finished pieces of furniture, such as sofa, armchair, table, chairs and beds were carefully selected designer pieces, such that could stress the luxury appeal of the apartment.
At the end, beautiful terraces should be pointed out, offering an impressive view of the sea nearby, which all includes the apartment in the category of unique luxury real estates.
Final result
Impressive, luxurious and unique apartment with a fascinating view of the sea.
